We have been posting fab faces for June on the PATWITS FB Page and this is mine.
I have used lots of stencils, 4 in total so also posting for the PaperArtsy Stencil challenge. Check out the PA blog here!
Loved doimg this page and challenged myself not to use black, just a tiny bit to outline her hair. Really loved the white hair, think I will do that again.
Thanks for looking, hope you can leave a nice comment,

Decorative bottle
Hello
It's such along time since my last blog.... been creating and uploading new stocks!!
Over on the Paterartsy blog the theme is bottles, click here for the link!! Fresh my Finnabair workshop yesterday I knew actually what I wanted to create.
OH supplied me the bottle, so good of him to sacrifice a couple of hours emptying 2 bottles, I said I only needed one!!!!
It took a while to soak the labels off, but then I was really to start......
I gave it a quick coat of Gesso and whilst that dried I used grudge paste through a circle stencil and through the leaf PA stencil on to tissue paper. and use a matt medium to stock to the bottle.
Using twine and acrylic glue the cover the neck of the bottle.
then started to sponge over the Frescoes Mermaid, limelight and Candy all over.
I stamped a coloured one of my fav PA images, and added some embellishments around it, this wasn't easy getting them to stick. Painted them and use silver TG over the top.
Finished off will some beads and charms and paint the twine with a white wash, and of course extra another little glass bottle.
Really please with the results, and OH said I can do lots of these (wonder why!!)
Thanks for looking xx

An opening piece.....
Hello and welcome to my first Artful Days blog post.
So as some of you may know I run a small craft website as well as juggling a full time job, 2 dogs, 1 cat (for now, poor thing is on his last legs ) a house and a Elliott (the OH).
When I do get time to play I lose myself in the moment and mess heehee!
Having a free play day, today I decided to immerse myself in my new Prima goodies (the first wave have just landed!)
I wanted to work on a Finnabair inspired piece as I have just booked my very first workshop with her, woohoo.
Using one of my fave photos of Kayla (furbaby) and some of the yummy products pictured below I got started....
I was so completely in the moment I forgot to take any photo's of the process so I shall explain.
First I used a 8 x 10 canvass board and covered it in clear paste using the Honeycomb Stencil, whilst it was still wet I added Micro beads in copper and let it dry.
Taking all the materials I had out, I put together the topper, I used some of my own metal embellishments to slide in between all the layers,
Once my canvas was dry I used Dylusions sprays to cover some of background, and stamped with Messy and Bubbles Finnabair's new stamps.
More layers went on the canvas and then the topper and lace. I finished off with the spatters of Dylusions link and added aTim Holtz word die, Beautiful....
Hope you enjoyed my first post and can leave a nice comment, please also do follow us
